Visits
Daily visits for one to two cats $40 per visit
Daily visits for three or more cats begin at $45 per visit
Every Other Day Visits begin at $45 per visit

Each visit includes the following services:

At your request, we will bring in the mail and newspaper, turn lights on/off, adjust curtains or blinds, water plants and take out the trash.

Medication 
There is no additional charge for administering medication during a standard visit*Services may be limited based
upon your pet’s temperament.
.  We are also skilled in assisting/training clients in administering medications to their cats.

Last Minute Requests     $20
We understand last minute requests are sometimes unavoidable. At our discretion, a last-minute surcharge of $20 may be assessed.

Holiday Fee    $10
New Years Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve.

  • For holidays occurring on a Friday or Monday a one-time holiday fee will be assessed for any visit happening any day of the long weekend.
  • Holidays occurring on a Saturday or Sunday will be assessed a one-time holiday fee for a visit occurring either Saturday or Sunday.
  • Over the long Thanksgiving weekend a one-time holiday fee will be assessed for any visit occurring Thursday through Sunday.

Pawdicure     $30
Nail trims are free of charge during a regularly scheduled visit*Services may be limited based
upon your pet’s temperament.

Keys
Two working sets of keys should be provided during the initial meeting between Client and Tales of the Kitty.  If you are unable to provide keys at this time, Tales of the Kitty has two drop-off locations.  If a sitter must make a special trip for the primary purpose of picking up or dropping off keys, a charge of $25 will be assessed, per trip.  Should keys become unusable, lock malfunctions, you fail to leave a key or for any other reasons beyond our control, Tales of the Kitty has your authorization to employ the services of a locksmith to gain entry into your home. Client will be responsible for all expenses incurred and reimburse Tales of the Kitty upon return.

Supply Pick Up     $30
Please have enough food, litter and if applicable, medication available to last through your scheduled visits. If we have to pick up supplies a supply pick up fee will apply.

Boarding            
We do not provide boarding.  We recommend Feline Wishes and Caviar Dreams for your boarding needs.

Policies

Payment
Payment is required at the start of service.  We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Payment is not processed until all services have been delivered. Outstanding balances will be subject to a $25 fee. Subsequent booking requests will not be confirmed until outstanding balances have been paid in full. There will be a $35 charge for any returned check.   

Cancellations
During non-holiday periods, cancellations must be received no less than 24 hours in advance. Cancellations received less than 24 hours in advance will be responsible for a charge equal to one visit.

Seven-days notice is required for changes or cancellations on the following holidays:  Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Cancellations less than seven days in advance will incur a charge equal to 50% of the originally scheduled service.  No credits will be given for early returns during the above listed holiday periods.

Veterinary Care
If your pet requires medical attention we will make every effort to notify you before approving veterinary care. If we are unable to be reach you your emergency contact will be contacted. You are fully responsible for payment and/or reimbursement for veterinary services upon your return. Tales of the Kitty assumes no responsibility for the actions and decisions of the veterinary staff.
